We consider ourselves fortunate that we are able to work in some of the most beautiful landscapes; the grace of the Moselle river and the allure of its steep valley is unsurpassed. Nowhere else in the world does Riesling grow with such finesse and elegance.

Our family cultivates over seven hectares of vines in the villages of Kröv, Dhron and Piesport. Our most prominant variety is Riesling, comprising approximately 75% of our yield. The majority grows in the breathtaking steep vineyards of the Moselle valley in acclaimed sites such as Kröver Steffensberg and Dhron Hofberg.

Riesling is an unbelievably diverse variety; its palette ranging from zesty dry wines which make perfect food matches, to quaffable feinherbs and stimulating sparkling wine. Our specialities are the refined and concentrated Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese and Eiswein. These wines represent considerable selection and supervision.

The light, fresh Mueller Thurgau (also called Rivaner) and Kerner, an exotic and bold wine round off our wine selection.

With our red grapes, we opted for a classic 'assemblage'. The varieties Spätburgunder, Frühburgunder and Regent come together in our cuvée "Drei Farben Rot"; a dry red with fruity aromas. Be prepared for a wonderful suprise.

Each year, the best red grapes are matured in small oak barrels (barriques). We only produce around 500 bottles of this premium wine each year.
